In the Community
Since our founding in 1907, Speers has been grateful for the support of the people in our community and are proud to participate fully in making Regina and area a better place to live for everyone. In that spirit, we are pleased to share with you a few of the causes that we participate in to try and give back to the Regina community.

Regina Pats Hockey Club
As two of Regina's longest-running institutions, Speers and the Pats share a unique connection in our community. In fact, Speers owner and President, Todd Lumbard is a former Pats goaltender who continues his involvement with the team as President and co-owner of the club. Our team at Speers are also proud to be part of the Pats Regiment by attending home games and sponsoring the starting lineup at the Brandt Centre and on 620 CKRM.
Hospitals of Regina Foundation
We are proud to make a memorial donation to the Hospitals of Regina Centre for Mother-Baby Care on behalf of each family we serve throughout the year. These funds are used to acquire essential equipment that is needed to help fragile, at-risk babies become well enough to go home with their families.
Wade Moffatt Memorial Gala
Wade Moffatt was known for his energy, compassion and genuine nature; but also for his care and efforts within our community. After a long battle with untreated bipolar disorder and alcoholism, Wade took his own life. Wade's family and a few close friends have worked in collaboration with the Canadian Mental Health Association (Saskatchewan Division) to create an event that would honour Wade for his contributions in our community, while creating awareness for mental health.
