Garry Alan Lynch passed away peacefully at William Both Special Care Home, on Friday, January 27, 2023 at the age of 82 years. He was born to Alan and Margaret (Patterson) Lynch in Indian Head, Saskatchewan on December 23, 1940. Following graduation from the University of Saskatchewan with a Pharmacy Degree, Garry moved to Thunder Bay, Ontario where he practiced retail pharmacy. He eventually returned to Saskatchewan in his classic flame orange corvette, practicing pharmacy in both Regina and Weyburn. Growing up Garry lived in many Saskatchewan towns as his father was a school superintendent. His formative years were spent in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan where he was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Garry spent wintertime playing hockey and skiing. In school, he competed in long and triple jump. Garry had special interests in geology and astronomy, as well as stamp collecting. His dry sense of humor and pensive smile will be missed. Garry was predeceased by his parents, Alan and Margaret; and brother Lorne. He is survived by his two children, Cindy Lynch and Stephen Lynch; brothers, Jim and Donovan Lynch; sister Candyce Waitley (Norm); sister-in-law Faye Lynch; as well as many caring nieces, nephews, and cousins. A family graveside memorial service will take place this summer at the All Saints Anglican Church, Katepwa, Saskatchewan. The family wishes to thank the staff at the William Booth Special Care Home for the exceptional care they provided Garry.
