The recording of the service can be viewed at the bottom of this page

It is with much sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Annie, on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 98 years. Annie was predeceased by her husband John; parents Kost and Wasylena Stadnyk; brothers Bill, Steve, John and Matt; and sisters Effie, Mary and Dora. She is survived by her three sons, Archie (Teresa), Ken (Diana), and Wade; granddaughter Jodi (Fausto) Rodriguez; great-grandchildren Dawson, Sofie, Max and Joe; granddaughter Lorena Melnychuk; great-grandchildren Cash, Bronx and Raynna; sister Katie Rudey; sisters-in-law Myrna Stadnyk, Alice Kutynec, Elsie Melnychuk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Annie’s family meant everything to her. She was born on March 27, 1922, on the family farm in the Sheho, SK district. Annie was an active member of the Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Regina and the Ukrainian community, volunteering endless hours at the church and the Orthodox Auditorium. She loved gardening and flowers, and even more so, children. “Baba” raised many over the decades, first babysitting her granddaughters before they started school, and then welcoming other families and their children into her home, loving and caring for them as though they were her own. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Pioneer Village 2 West and the Emmanuel Villa Peace Unit for their compassionate care. A private family Funeral Rite will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. with Reverend Father Volodymyr Feskiv officiating. Interment to follow in the Sheho Holy Trinity Church Cemetery.
