Pasquale “Pat” De Sarno of Regina passed away suddenly from cancer on Friday, May 14, 2021, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by parents, Anna and John Andrilovic; son John DeSarno; sisters, Lina (Ross) Beckett, Antoinette Ruhland, and Giovanna De Sarno; and brother Vincent Andrilovic. Pat is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Joanne) De Sarno, Stefan DeSarno and Christian Loher; daughter Sonia (Dan) Fagan; sister Cathy Mathias; grandchildren, Kyle Johnson (Amanda Brewer), Robyn Bien, Jayden De Sarno (Mikala Dickson), Ashton De Sarno; Malissa (Desmond) Marynowski, Darren Egnar, Allishia De Sarno (Jeremy Mc Williams), Daylen Fagan, Amanda Fagan and Haile Tanner; great-grandchildren, Skylee De Sarno, Aria and Niko Schmegelsky, Kashtyn McWilliams, Cole Fagan and Charlie Marynowski; as well as many nieces and nephews..

Pasquale was born in Cicciano, Italy. He arrived in Canada at the age of 19, where he became “Pat.”  Pat quickly became part of Canadian culture. Became a baker and loved it passionately. He was always quick to help anyone in need and became famous for making long-term friends quickly. Known as the life of the party, he feared nothing and brought joy to everyone. Anyone who interfaced with Pat knew he loved life to the fullest. Although the family is heartbroken, Pat left them with incredible strength and memories of a man who lived life for the family; whether playing and poking fun with his grandchildren, to breakfast dates to ensuring he was always available to help family, friends and strangers. Pat loved to cook and was often asked by his family members for meatballs, eggplant parmesan, and “sammiches!”

Pat will be remembered by his long-time friends Carol Roberts, Harish (Sharon), Brahbhatt, Mario (Lorea) Eufemia, Robert (Cammie) Mackay, Rob (Donna) Mignon, Ray Zatylny, Patricia (Cecil) Griffin, Stan (Kristy) Chorney, and many many more….

Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. You are welcome to join the family at Speers for the service or you may view the livestream of the service by clicking on the link above on the day of the service.
