Evelyn was a long time resident of Balgonie before moving to Regina in 1996 to live with her daughter and family. She loved to cook and welcomed her childrens friends, and family members on Sundays in Balgonie. There was always room for one more she said many times! She enjoyed living next door to the Elementary School in Balgonie where she felt needed and respected by the staff and students. She was always near-by to help out the staff and students anyway she could. She developed many long-term friendships from these favors.
