On his return to Canada he completed his education at University of British Columbia and after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in Vancouver, moved first to Prince Albert and then Regina where he practiced until his retirement in 1987. Gordon enjoyed his retirement by travelling and spending his winters in Arizona. Golfing, hiking, volunteering and sharing coffee and stories with his friends were precious hours.
